From the Coober Pedy watercolour field notes

Cut into the hillside in the shape of a cross, the Catacomb Church features a cross, lectern and communion table fashioned from local mulga wood, and an old miner’s winch repurposed as a fitting. Quiet, cool and atmospheric.
